Our favorite Duck is back, and he's off to school in Doreen Cronin's Click, Clack, Quack to School! This book is a perfect back to school read aloud, and these activities pair with the book for literacy learning in Kindergarten and First Grade.
Farmer Brown is invited to come to school for a special Farm Day themed lunch. A note written in crayon on the invitation tells him to bring his farm animals, too!
Farmer Brown is very excited to visit the school. He tries to get his animals ready for the school visit.
The animals are very excited, to go to school! They make lots of noise to show their enthusiasm. Farmer Brown teaches them that school is not a place for noise.
The next day, Farmer Brown took his animals to school. They were very quiet and well-behaved.
Suddenly the school doors sprang open for recess. Children rushed out, making LOTS of noise!
The animals got excited, and made lots of noise too. School is not always a calm, quiet, and serious place!
Duck could be found in the Principal's office. He was just duck-y.
